On September 3, President Aleksandar Vučić posted on his social media accounts about the meeting: "Serbia aims to become a leader in the green transition, and cooperation with companies such as FL RENEWABLES enables us to stay at the forefront. In my talks with representatives of this innovative company—an industry leader in wind farm development and in the application of advanced materials in energy infrastructure—we discussed potential projects in renewable energy, particularly in the wind power sector and in future emerging technologies. We now have the opportunity to build a strong and resilient energy network while protecting natural resources and promoting sustainable development. I am confident that through cooperation, we can jointly create a modern, clean energy infrastructure that will benefit generations to come."

Recently, Sun Yu, Chairman of Shanghai Fengling Renewables Co., Ltd., met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić in Beijing. The two sides held friendly and pragmatic discussions on deepening China–Serbia cooperation in the new energy sector.

China and Serbia enjoy strong complementarities and broad prospects for cooperation in new energy. Chinese enterprises hold technological advantages, extensive experience, and mature project management capabilities in fields such as wind power. The Serbian government provides robust policy support, land resources, and a favorable investment environment. This complementary model effectively combines China's advanced technology with Serbia's local resources, creating a powerful synergy for green development and delivering tangible benefits to both peoples. President Vučić noted on social media that Serbia seeks to become a leader in the green transition, and its cooperation with FL RENEWABLES marks a key step forward on this path.

Looking ahead, China–Serbia cooperation in new energy will continue to deepen. Both sides stated that they will take this meeting as an opportunity to expand the scope and depth of collaboration in the sector. FL RENEWABLES plans to further leverage its technological and managerial strengths to advance project development in Serbia and explore additional innovative cooperation models. Both parties believe that closer cooperation will not only support Serbia's green economic transition, but also strengthen international energy cooperation and mutual benefit under the Belt and Road Initiative, contributing to a new chapter in sustainable development across the region.
